• We are saying Goodbye to
    The Innsbruck Lodge

We are announcing the closure of “The Innsbruck Lodge” after nearly 50 years ran by the Albrecht family, starting with Reinhold & Hilde in 1973 and later on with Reinhard & Heike. We ended the business on a high note being booked nearly every night, to even the last one on July 27, and with one of the highest ratings in town, something we are very proud of. This realization has become hard. We have met some wonderful people over the years and experienced amazing things. This was not only a learning experience that no school could possible teach you, but in the end, it was one heck of an adventure. We wanted that our son Axton had a chance to do his own thing, and that is why Axton is now in the U.S. Army serving our great country. We would like to take this opportunity to thank all of our guests over the years. We tried our best to make our “Innsbruck Lodge “ as comfortable as possible, like a second home. We also like to thank all the employees, contractors, and vendors that help us along the way and make this a special place. The lodge will continue onto its next phase in its life as affordable apartments to the community of Mammoth Lakes and maintaining the feeling of a home. WE are currently setting up ourselves for our next chapter in our lives. We won’t be going far since we consider the Mammoth area as the best playground on the planet.
Thank you all!
Reinhard, Heike, Axton and our dog Tala.
